About

My name is Jorne, known online as Anachroneo (previously MrMii6). I spend most of my time working as a software developer and all-round IT consultant. In my spare time, I enjoy experimenting with electronics and technology that I don't use at work.

Retro games and consoles have always interested me. I grew up in the 2000s and consoles like the Wii and DS played a big part in my childhood. In addition to this, however, I also had several older systems that had been passed down to me by my dad. These included an original Game Boy, a Commodore Amiga 500, and some Game & Watch handhelds. I liked those just as much as the new systems at the time, and that's where my love for this hobby began.

I created this site as a place to showcase my projects and easily share and preserve information. I don't have a set schedule for posts, so there may be long gaps between them. My general rule of thumb is that I'll write a post if I find the subject fun and potentially useful for others.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog!

Disclaimer: I am largely self-taught in the techniques I use and the work I do. I always make sure to do my research when working on a project. Despite this, it is possible that I may make mistakes. If you want to use the information on this site, that's great! However, please bear in mind that I am just a hobbyist doing this for fun.
